Wound Care Centers maintains a comprehensive, proprietary database that includes more than 534,000 patients who have been treated at Wound Care Center^® programs.  The reliability and validity of this data base, called MediLink™, have been tested by nationally respected researchers.

MediLink reports overall totals and healing percentages.   In addition, patient totals, wound totals, and healing percentages are reported with etiologic, wound size, and wound duration categories.  Stratification of outcome measures in this way facilitates comparisons of very specific patient data across the various Wound Care Centers both regionally and nationally.

More than 700 physicians have access to MediLink, and the information in this data base can be used to continuously improve wound care at all Wound Care Centers, Inc. programs nationally.
